How to get to Lower City in Baldur’s Gate 3

This article will guide you on how to reach the Lower City in Baldur’s Gate 3. To reach Lower City you have to make it past the Wyrm’s Rock Fortress.

Lower City is located north of Wyrm’s Rock Fortress which is itself located north of the South Span of Wyrm’s Crossing Waypoint. You need to make way from this Fortification to reach the lower City. Wyrm’s Rock Fortress is surrounded by a large moat.

Head north from Wyrm’s Crossing Waypoint to the edge of the mountain, where you’ll find a few guards beside a drawbridge. However, these guards will only let you through if you hold a Lower City Pass.

To get to the fortress, walk to the edge and use the Misty spell to do a long jump to the opposite cliff on the left side. There are plenty of flat places for a safe landing.

Go around the fortress wall until you come upon a ladder. Climb the ladder to the higher level, then utilize knotted Roots to scale the fort wall.

On top, enter the fortress through the wooden doors. To open the door, use Knock Spell.

Once within the Wyrm’s Rock Fortress, use “Greater Invisibility” and pass through the left entrance into the open section of the fort near some catapult.

Walk to the edge and look down to find another drawbridge. Use Grant flight spell to glide to the drawbridge. Head in the north direction to reach the Lower City.
