As the quest progresses, you need to visit Glenbright Manor, located in the southern part of Hernand. When you get close to the manor, the game will tell you to go inside. Walk to the entrance to trigger a short cutscene. After the cutscene, a few guards will attack you at the entrance. Defeat them to continue and move forward in the quest.
Investigate Glenbright / Look for any survivors in the manor
After the fight, go through the main hallway on the left and go into the dining area. Look to your left and find the fireplace.
Next, go through the door near the fireplace to exit outside. And straight into the next room in front of you. Once inside, take out your lantern and hold it steady.
This will reveal a hidden memory. Keep holding it until the memory is fully learned. After revealing the memory, open your menu and review it under the clues section. This gives you important story details and helps you understand what happened inside the manor.
Next, head back to the main hall and go upstairs using the staircase near the entrance.
At the top, go all the way to the end and enter the room on the left. Inside, you will find a survivor. Speak with them to learn that your targets escaped through a window.
