In this article, we’re going to dive deep into everything you need to know about crafting your very own Gas Mask in Grounded 2. We’ll cover what materials you’ll need to gather, where to find those bugs, and the exact steps to assemble this essential piece of gear at your workbench.
Grounded 2: How To Craft A Gas Mask
Once you’ve reached level four, the Gas Mask recipe will automatically get unlocked. To make it, here’s what you’ll need to gather:
- Weevil Nose
- Gnat Fuzz x 4
- Crude Rope x 2
- Stinkbug Part
Stinkbug Part
Stinkbugs can be found in several locations throughout the park in Grounded 2. One of the easiest places to find them is near the stone and brick path that runs vertically between the Entrance and Ice Cream Cart area.

Weevil Nose
You can get a Weevil Nose by defeating weevils, but it’s not always a guaranteed drop. Weevils are small, harmless bugs that are easy to find all over the park. If you’re trying to get a Weevil Nose, it’s best to use your fists instead of a weapon.
Gnat Fuzz
You can get Gnat Fuzz from gnats. These tiny flying bugs love to hang out in wet places, so look for them near puddles
Crude Rope
You can collect plant fibers by picking up the small green plants on the ground or by cutting down grass and chopping up the leftover stumps.
Once you have all the pieces needed for the gas Mask, go to a Workbench to craft the Gas Mask.
