This article will guide you on how to reach Infiltrate Moonrise Towers through the Mountain Pass and How to Infiltrate Moonrise Towers. You have the option to take either the overland Mountain Pass route or journey through the Underdark tunnels in order to reach the Moonrise Towers. In both cases, you’ll need to travel through the Shadow-Cursed lands to reach your destination.

Reach Rosymorn Monastery Trail
After opting for the overland route, make your way from Waukeen’s Rest Fast Travel Point to the Mountain Pass. Proceed across the stone bridge located to the west of the Githyanki Patrol. This will lead you to the Rosymorn Monastery Trail as you continue your journey.
Reach Ruined Battlefield
Follow the path northwest direction, pass Trielta Crags until you reach a ravine filled with dead plants and animals. This will lead you to the Reached Ruined Battlefield.
How to Protect Yourself from Shadow Curse
At this point, you’ll proceed through the zone transition to access the Shadow-Cursed lands. Make sure to equip a torch to illuminate the area, as the light will provide protection against the shadow curse.
Continue west in the Reach Ruined Battlefield to reach an area where you will meet Warrior Gronag. Talk to him and he will introduce you to Kansif (NPC).
Successfully pass the performance check and at this time Kar’niss will join you. Kar’niss is a boss in the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3).
Follow the Convoy
Initiate a conversation with Kar’niss and then begin following the convoy. Maintain proximity to the light sources to ensure protection from the shadow curse.
Turn on the Caravan (Side with the Harpers)
The Harper (NPC) will ambush you while following Kar’niss and the Caravan. You will be given the option to either defend the caravan or turn it on.
If you choose to help Kar’niss and attack Harper then Kar’niss will lead you to the moonlight tower.
Reach Last Light Inn
We propose that you choose to attack the Caravan and kill Kar’niss. Harper (NPC) will ask you to accompany him after the battle. He will mark the map to direct you to the next objective.
Start following the path in the north direction, and cross the stone bridge to reach Last Light Inn.
Talk to Jaheira
Speak with Jaheira in the Last Light Inn. Inform her that you have arrived to demolish the Moonrise Tower.
Head inside the building and talk to Jaheira. She will ask you to talk to Isobel.
Talk to Isobel (get the Moonlantern)
Head upstairs and talk to Isobel. She’ll cast a protection spell on you and will give you and provide you with a Moonlantern.
Infiltrate Moonrise Towers
Retrace your steps to the site where Kar’niss and his convoy were attacked. From there, begin your journey by following the path in the southwest direction to reach the Moonrise Towers. Equip Moonlantern before entering Moonrise Towers.
