This article will guide you on how to save Minsc in Baldur’s Gate 3. Minsc is the final companion that you are able to recruit in Baldur’s Gate 3. You don’t actually get to meet Minsc until you are halfway through Act 3. During the “Aid the Underduke” quest, you will find Minsc in the sewers.
Minsc is found in the western part of the sewers. Go to the location marked on your map and you reach the Abandoned Cistern, where you must unlock the Sluice Gate.
Once through the Sluice gate, you will find Minsc talking with the fake Jaheira and a Zhentarim. After some discussion, fighting will begin.
If you kill Minsc during the fight, then Jaheira will leave the team.
To recruit him, you must first lower his health to less than five and then strike him with a non-lethal blow. Check your spellbook to see which characters have access to “Toggle to Non-Lethal Attack” from the passive tab, as illustrated in the image below.
