One of the best methods is crafting Saviour Schnapps, a special potion that lets you save whenever you need it. The game includes a built-in way to manually save your progress. To do this, you need a special potion called Saviour Schnapps. You will receive the recipe for Saviour Schnapps during the main story quest while having breakfast with Bozhena in the early part of the game. Alternatively, you can buy these potions from vendors.
To craft the potion, you’ll need two herbs: Nettle and Belladonna.
Nettle is commonly found near large bodies of water, such as Rockwater Pond. It also grows along pathways and at the edges of fields.
Belladonna grows in leafy wood areas. One of the best locations to find it is along the path to the Herb Lady’s Shack, where you go to heal after the tutorial fights.
After gathering both herbs, head to an Alchemy Bench. You can find one at the Herb Lady’s Shack or in Troskowitz.
Here’s how to craft Saviour Schnapps:
- Pour wine into the cauldron.
- Add one Nettle to the mixture.
- Boil for two turns of the hourglass.
