This article will guide you on how to solve all Makasura Shrine Puzzles in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Makasura Shrine is located within The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s West Necluda region.
The main focus of the “An Upright Device” challenge at the Makasura Shrine is on utilizing the Ascend skill. Once you enter the shrine walk to the far end of the room. Use the Ascent ability to move through the ledge onto the next level.
In the next area, you’ll find an L-shaped grate attached to a Zonai device. Move it close to the edge. Hit the Zonai device to cause the grate to stand up. Climb to the top and glide across the gap.
In the next gated area, use Ultrahand to place the grate in the middle and turn it so that the smaller side faces downwards and the Zonai device is located on the left-hand side. Stand on top of the grate and shoot the Zonai device to catapult (launch) yourself toward the left side of the gated area.
You will find three items in the gated-off area: a Zonai device, a bowl attached to a grate, and a ball. Attach the Zonai device to the grate’s end across from the bowl. Place the ball into the bowl.
Shoot the Zonai device to launch the ball into the middle chamber.
Treasure Chest
Move the grate to the back side of the room use the grate to climb up the ledge to pick up a treasure chest.
After completing the task, use the grate to exit from the left room and return to the middle chamber. Place the ball in the pit to open the right side room. The right-side room has another grate with a bowl attached. move it into the middle room and attach it to the other grate to make a much larger catapult-style device. Make sure the Zonai device and bowl are on the opposite end.
Stand on the bowl and then shoot the Zonai device to launch yourself into the air. Glide across the gap to reach the exit of the shrine.
