The Mount Benus puzzle is one of the trickier puzzles in Deleysia territory, but once you know what to expect, it is very manageable. Here is a step-by-step breakdown of how to complete the puzzle in Crimson Desert.
Puzzle Location
Head to the bottom right corner of Deleysia, as shown in the map below. The puzzle is located near Mount Benus, where you will find a mysterious energy.
Step 1: Clear the Enemies First
Before you start the puzzle, take out the small rock and bush enemies in the area. They will interrupt you mid-run if you leave them alive.
Step 2: Clear the Obstacles on the Path
There are two obstacles along the puzzle path you will want to clear before starting the puzzle:
- Thorns & Vines: Use your focus light to burn the thorns and vines.
- Logs: There are also some logs blocking part of the route. Remove them too.
Step 3: The Squid Game Walk
This puzzle works exactly like the classic Red Light, Green Light mechanic from Squid Game. Here is how it works:
- Stand on the starting platform across the main statue to activate the puzzle.
- The statue will turn around and look at you. When it is looking at you, stop moving completely.
- When it turns away, start moving forward.
- The moment it starts turning back, release everything and freeze.
Step 4: Reach the Final Platform
Keep moving forward slowly, whenever the statue is turned away. Once you make it to the final platform at the end, the puzzle is complete.
