Find the Gloombound Flame
Start by traveling to the Widow’s Overlook Beacon in the northern part of the overworld. From the Beacon, head directly south. Continue through the area until you encounter the miniboss Great Arbiter of Flesh.
You do not need to defeat the miniboss to get the item. Instead, look behind the area where the Great Arbiter of Flesh is located. There are several large stone pillars in this area. Search the pillars carefully to find the Gloombound Flame.
Activate Night & Day in Mortal Shell 2
After collecting the Gloombound Flame, make your way back to Marrow Keep. Then use the elevator to reach the top of the tower. At the top of the tower, look for a golden lantern near the fire. Interact with it and use the Gloombound Flame to activate it.
This will make Thestus appear. Speak with Thestus whenever you want to change the time of day. He allows you to switch between day and night.
