Unlocking Schematics in COD Modern Warfare 3 Zombies is crucial for acquiring weapons and other items. You can get Schematics by completing activities in MWZ, opening Mercenary Loot Caches or Aether Loot Caches, or finishing story missions with Schematics as rewards. Similar to discovering weapons, Schematics are typically random and somewhat rare. However, you can easily identify them as they are distinguished by their yellow rarity.
The most effective approach I’ve discovered for obtaining Schematics is to tackle Aether Nests and Infested Strongholds scattered across the Exclusion Zone. Enter the area, preferably equipped with a gas mask, and eliminate all the yellow cysts to clear it. Once the area is clear, loot all the Aether Caches inside for an opportunity to obtain a valuable Schematic.
These schematics don’t require items; all you need to do is craft the item. Once crafted, there’s a specific cooldown period for each item, preventing you from crafting the same item again for a set duration. For instance, some items have a cooldown time of about 3 hours. Keep in mind that each item comes with its own cooldown.
