Where Winds Meet hides some of its most creative and powerful mystic skills behind several mini-quests. Dragon’s Breath is one of the most entertaining mystic skills to unlock. This skill lets your character literally breathe fire. In this guide, I’ll walk you through step by step on how to obtain the Dragon’s Breath mystic skill in Where Winds Meet.
Go to the Fairground Tower in Kiang City
Go to the fairground tower in Kiang City and check the left side as you enter. You’ll see two NPCs chatting. Talk to them, and during the conversation, one of them will suddenly run off, which triggers the next part of the mini-quest.
Refresh the Area
Once the NPC leaves, fast-travel back to the main entrance of Kiang City to refresh the area and ensure he respawns in the correct spot. After that, head to the rooftop marked on your map to continue the quest.
Wait Until 11:00 AM
On the rooftop, pass time passes until 11:00 AM the next morning. When the time hits late morning, you’ll spot the NPC who ran off earlier standing right in front of you.
Pickpocket the Book Using Celestial Seas
To continue, you’ll need the Celestial Seas skill. If you’ve reached Kiang City through the main story, you’ll already have it unlocked. Use Celestial Seas to sneak up behind the NPC and pickpocket the book he’s carrying.
Return the Book to the Tower NPC
Take the stolen book back to the NPC in the fairground tower.
Claim the Skill in the Wandering Tales Menu
Open your Journal and head to the Wandering Tales section, then find the reward for Fairgrounds: Part 9 and claim it. One of the rewards you’ll receive is the Dragon’s Breath Mystic Skill.
