This article will guide the player on where to find the ‘Idol of Secret Hatred’ in Avowed. It is one of the seven pieces of the Totem of Defiance scattered around Emerald Stair.
The Idol of Secret Hatred is located inside the Ancient Grotto dungeon, which is located in the southwestern area of Emerald Stair.
Go to the Ancient Grotto Beacon and enter the Ancient Grotto dungeon. Proceed forward until you reach the first open area.
Take the path on the left to enter another room.
Cross the pool of red water and climb up the ledge ahead.
Burn the vines and enter the tunnel. At the first fork, head left and crawl through the narrow passage.
On the other side, you’ll find a skeleton. Inspect it to obtain the Idol of Secret Hatred.
