Starting Location
To begin the quest ‘In Safe Hands‘ (Sapper Quest), a player must first rescue Johara and convince her to join the campsite. This story-related event unfolds automatically at the end of the Main Quest, ‘The Enemy’s Grasp,’ after you defeat your dark self. After this rest at the campsite and speak to Luca to start the Sapper Quest.
Locate the Lake
Proceed to the locations marked on the map. Lake and Wellspring are located in East Backharvest. Defeat enemies at the lake.
Collect the explosive barrel from the lake.
Locate the Wellspring
Position the explosive barrel against the mountain wall and detonate it to create a breach.
Finally, report your progress to Luca at the camp to complete the Sapper Quest. This quest will reward you with the Firespitter firearm.
