In the Invaders side quest of Kingdom Come Deliverance II, you’ll take on the challenge of defending the Cumans against an attacking force. This guide will walk you through each step of the Invaders quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance II.
Side Quest Location
To start the “Invaders” side quest, head to the tavern in Troskowitz and speak with the innkeeper, Betty. She’ll inform you that a group of Cuman soldiers is seated at a table in the tavern. She wants you to serve them food and collect payment from them.
Serve the Cumans
Approach the Cuman soldiers and ask them what they would like to eat. Make sure to ask them if they have money to pay.
Get bread & sausages
Enter the tavern and grab some bread and sausages. Then, serve the food to the Cuman soldiers.
Take Cuman’s Side
At this moment, another NPC named Vuytek will start arguing with the Cuman soldiers. You can try to diffuse the situation by choosing these dialogue options:
Good Appetite > Everyone, Calm Down > You’d Better Leave
When a fight breaks out with the Cumans, take their side and help them defeat the NPCs along with Vuytek. Be careful—if any villagers or Cumans die, the quest will end.
After the brawl, speak with Vasko, the Cuman leader, and he will invite you to his camp.
Find the Cuman’s Camp
Speak with the injured NPC, Vuytek. He will ask you to deal with the Cumans to settle the conflict between him and Henry.
Talk to the Cumans at their camp
Next, head to the Cumans’ camp, located southwest of the Nomads’ camp near the pond. Once there, speak with Vasko and warn them not to visit the traven again where the fight breaks out then have a drink with him.
Next, you’ll receive an optional objective to help an NPC named Jaska, who wants to speak with a girl in the Nomads’ camp. However, if your Charisma is low, it’s best not to assist him.
If you want to help Jaska: Follow Jasak up the slope into the Nomads’ camp. Speak with the bath maid by the tree and introduce yourself and pass speech check. Then, convey Jasak’s feelings to her, and pass few more speech option. As you finish, another man will confront you. Pass a speech check to defuse the situation, or brace yourself for a fight.
Get some more alcohol
Speak with Vasko again at the Cumans’ camp. He will ask you and Jasak to bring more booze. To get the booze, start following Jaska. Midway through, he will pass out. Keep moving forward until you find a stash of alcohol hidden between some rocks.
Return to camp with the booze
Return to camp with the booze and speak with Vasko. You’ll need to pass a few more speech checks. Along the way, you’ll find yourself in the middle of the pond and a few more cutscenes.
When the dialogue option to change the topic appears, choose it, and Vasko will agree not to return to Troskowitz.
Talk to Vuytek
Go back to Troskowitz and talk to Vuytek about the Cumans. You can tell the truth and pass a speech check to convince him they’re not a threat. Else lie to him by saying that you got rid of them.
