This article will guide you through the objective “Investigate the Suspicious Cave” of the quest Secrets Hidden in the Dark in Crimson Desert. Secrets Hidden in the Dark is the 24th main mission in Crimson Desert, where you need to find a mysterious Greymane and save it from the bandits.
Investigate the suspicious cave
After the cutscene, you’ll need to deal with the bandits guarding the cave entrance. Take them out carefully before heading inside. Once the entrance is clear, go deeper into the cave and make your way all the way to the bottom.
Inside, take out your lantern and look for a hidden memory called “Lair of the Animal Thieves.” Interact with the glowing traces to unlock it.
Then open your inventory, equip the Visione Helmet, and manually select the memory “Lair of the Animal Thieves” to read it.
Go outside the cave
After reading the memory, make your way back out of the cave. As you exit, a cutscene will play.
Go to the guards
Head northeast from the cave to find the guards. Speak with them to complete the quest.
