Isle of Spires Relic Ruin: Door Codes & Puzzles | Horizon Forbidden West

This guide shows how to complete the “Isle of Spires” Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West. The guide will also explain how to solve the puzzles to get the door codes in the “Isle of Spires” Relic Ruin.


Isle of Spires Relic Ruin Walkthrough

The location of the ruin is marked in the picture below.

Go to the northeast portion of the ruin. Climb up the ledges near the campfire to reach the top as shown in the picture below.

As you reach the top, you will see a non-functional elevator in front of you. Move ahead and you will see a room containing an energy cell and a room with a changing station. This charging station is too far from the elevator and the cell will drain out if you carry the cell from this charging station to the elevator. So, there is no need to use this charging station. Go to the room behind the charging station, and you will see a vent on the ceiling as shown below. Use the pullcaster to open the vent. Climb the vent and drop down from the other side.

In this room, you will see a charging station and a firegleam on the wall. Ignite the firegleam to blow up the wall. Now get the energy cell and insert it in the new charging station as shown in the picture below.

When the cell is charged, take it to the elevator to power it up as shown below. Then take the elevator down to the lower level.

As you get out of the elevator you will see a firegleam on the wall on the left side as shown below. Ignite firegleam to blow up the wall. Don’t go out of this wall yet.

Then turn around and pull out the crate from the water. Push the crate into the water on the right side. Then swim across and destroy the metal flower as shown below. You will need to complete Main Quest 12, Seeds of the Past, to be able to destroy the Metal Flower.

After destroying the metal flower, use the pullcaster to pull the crate towards you. Then jump on top of the crate. Look through the hole on the wall and you will see a locked ladder as shown below. Shoot the red lock on the ladder to release it.

Now go to the ladder through the blown-up wall. Climb up the ladder. Then jump to grab the ledge above the ladder. When you are at the top ledge, turn around and jump to the platform containing the key module as shown in the picture below.

Now go back to the elevator. Pull the crate out from the water and push it inside the elevator as shown below. Take the elevator to the top floor.


Isle of Spires Door Codes

After reaching the upper floor, push the crate out of the elevator and place it underneath the ledge as shown in the picture below.

Then climb up the ledges on the right side and from there jump to the balcony in front as shown in the picture below.

From there, jump down the hole on the floor. Then go to the next room, where you will find a locked door and a Datapoint containing the door code. The door code is mentioned as 1-0-floor number. The floor number is 9. So, the door code is 1-0-9. Enter this code to open the door in the room.

After opening the door, go straight ahead and drop down the ledge to the lower level. Then go to the room on the left side as shown in the picture below.

Here you will see a crate on the other side. Pull the crate to drop it through the hole as shown below. The crate will get stuck on some wood as shown in the second picture below. Pull the crate again to drop it on the water below.

Now jump down to the lowest level. Here you will find a locked door, for which you will need to find the door code. Pull the crate out from the water as shown below.

Then push it underneath the vent as shown below. Use the pullcaster to open the vent. Then jump on the top of the crate and from there climb up the vent.

Come out from the vent on the other side. Then climb up the ledge to reach a room contacting a locked door. Next to this room, you will find a Datapoint contacting the door code as shown in the pictures below. The door code is 2-1-0-9. Enter the door code to unlock the door.

After opening the door, go straight ahead and jump down into the water. Here you will find the final locked door. The door code is on the Datapoint next to the door as shown below.

Datapoint says that the door code consists of Leo’s bumpcode, followed by Astrid’s. This means the door code is the previous two codes appended. So, the door code is 2-1-0-9-1-0-9. Enter the code to open the door. Go inside and pick up the ornament to complete the relic ruin.
