Jonsau Shrine: Deep Force Puzzle

This guide shows how to complete the Deep Force Puzzle in the Jonsau Shrine in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, released on 12th May 2023. The Jonsau Shrine is at the location shown in the pictures below.

After you get inside the shrine, use the Ultrahand ability to pick up the yellow sphere on the water. Hold it down under the water as shown in the picture below. When you release it, it will bounce up and press the button on the roof as shown in the second picture below. This will open the iron gate.

Proceed ahead and you will see a chest under the water in the next room as shown in the picture below. Use the Ultrahand ability to bring it out of the water. Open it to get a bow.

Proceed ahead and in the next room, you will see a yellow rectangular block floating on the water. Hold it down under the water with the short side up as shown in the picture below. When you release it, it will bounce up and press the button on the roof as shown in the second picture below. This will open the iron gate.

Proceed ahead to reach the next room. Hold the yellow ball there under the water such that when it bounces up, it removes the wooden plank blocking the platform as shown in the picture below. This will clear the path of the platform, bringing it down.

Now go and stand on the platform. Then you can use the ball to make the platform go up by holding it in the water under the platform as shown in the picture below. You can also use the Recall ability on the platform to make it go back up. Either way, once the platform is back up, hop off and proceed ahead to get the Light of Blessing, completing the shrine.
