Kiuyoyou Shrine: Fire and Ice

This guide shows how to complete the Fire and Ice Puzzle in the Kiuyoyou Shrine in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, released on 12th May 2023. The Kiuyoyou Shrine is at the location shown in the pictures below.

After entering the shrine, grab the ice block and place it under the lava as shown in the picture below. This will reduce the size of the ice block. Then place this ice block on the pressure plate as shown in the second picture below. This will open the iron gate next to the pressure plate.

Pick up the ice block and proceed ahead. Place the ice block next to the platform on the left side as shown in the picture below. Then use the ice block to climb up. Pick up the ice block again and place it on the platform. Now use it to reach the chest. Open the chest to get Zonaite Spear.

Proceed ahead, jump into the airflow, and glide to reach the other side as shown in the picture below.

Pick up the plank there and place it in front of the fire as shown in the pictures below. This will prevent the ice block from melting.

Pick up the ice block and place it aside. Now grab the plank and attach it on top of the ice block as shown in the picture below.

Now push the Ice Block-Plank arrangement down the spikes as shown in the picture below. Then glide down to reach the other side.

Take the Ice Block-Plank arrangement back to the first lava and place it on top of the pressure plate under it as shown in the picture below. This will open an iron gate nearby. Go through it and get the Light of Blessing to complete the shrine.
