In Lies of P: Overture, Cipher Machines hold valuable secrets and lore and are scattered throughout the DLC. This guide will show you the exact locations of the Bloody Cipher Machine and provide step-by-step solutions so you don’t miss a thing.
Bloody Cipher Machine
Step 1: Defeat Two-Faced Overseer
You can obtain the Bloody Cipher Machine by defeating the Two-Faced Overseer.
Step 2: Send Tracker to the Hotel
After defeating the Two-Faced Overseer, talk to the Tracker and send him to the hotel. Go back to the Tracker at Eventide Hotel and ask him to decode the Bloody Cipher Machine.
Step 3: Collect Crocodile Necropsy Report
Head to the Hall of Adventure Stargazer and go up the stairs to the exhibition room on the left side. There you will find a crocodile display.
When you get close to the crocodile display, you’ll see a prompt to ‘Press the button”. Doing so will reward you with the Confession: Crocodile Necropsy Report.
Step 4: Solution – Finish Bloody Cipher Machine
Bring the report back to the Tracker and choose the first option, ‘Report on the Dark Secrets’. This will finish the Bloody Cipher Machine, and you’ll get a Whirlwind Amulet as your reward.
