In Lies of P: Overture, Cipher Machines hold valuable secrets and lore and are scattered throughout the DLC. This guide will show you the exact locations of the Corroded Cipher Machine and provide step-by-step solutions so you don’t miss a thing.
Corroded Cipher Machine
You can obtain the Corroded Cipher Machine by defeating the Bulldozer.
Once you’ve claimed the Corrupted Cipher, go back to the Tracker at Eventide Hotel and ask him to decode the Corrupted Cipher Machine. The Tracker will help decipher the Corroded Cipher Machine and point you toward a location known as the Ancient Ruin Excavation Site.
Starting from the Ancient Ruin Excavation Site, head down the slope to your left and descend the ladder nearby.
Once you reach the bottom, move left to find a non-functional robot. Just beside it, you’ll spot a weak-looking wall that can be destroyed.
Use any explosive item to break through the wall and uncover a hidden area. Inside, carefully explore the space and examine the skeleton to recover the Misfit’s Diary.
Take the diary back to the Tracker. Giving it to them completes this objective and rewards you with a special item: the Ancient Disk.
