This step-by-step guide will show you how to complete the objective “Locate the Cache in Cell D-02-106” for the mission “Echoes of the Past” in Starfield.
As you go through the mission “Echoes of the Past“, you will reach D-Block’s Guard Tower, where you will discover Jasper had a cell in D-Block. You will now be given the option objective to locate the cache in Cell D-02-106.
Interact with the D-block Guard Post Workstation, access the D-block Switch Control folder, and select the option Unlock Section 02 Switch.
Leave the D-block Guard post, continue along the catwalk bridge, and make a right turn at the first opportunity. Use your jump suite to descend through the damaged section to reach the lower level of the walkway bridge. Refer to the below images.
Follow the catwalk to the left until you reach Cell D-02-106, which houses the cache; however, the cell will be locked.
Retrace your steps a little farther back and search for a set of steps heading down near some black spiky items on the catwalk.
Descend the stairs and then ascend another set of steps. Pass through the Security door in berge yellow.
Interact with the D-block section 02 cell release switch at this point.
Finally, return to Cell D-02-106 and enter the room to obtain the cache.
