If you’re having trouble completing the Look for Eggie within the ruins objective in Genshin Impact, you’re in the right place. This part of the quest takes you deep into the ancient ruins, where you’ll need to solve environmental puzzles. In this guide, we’ll walk you through each step so you can complete the objective without getting lost.
Look for Eggie Within the Ruins – First Room
In the first puzzle room, you’ll find a large circular platform with four spear slots around it. Two of the slots are already filled, while the other two are empty. Start by pushing the sphere on the main circular platform into one of the empty spear slots.
Next, head down to the lower platform to find a second sphere. There are two ways to bring it back to the upper platform. You can make the sphere float and guide it up to the main platform, or push it into the launcher to send it directly to the upper level.
Once the second sphere is on the main platform, push it into the remaining empty spear slot. With all four spear slots filled, interact with the power supply in the center of the circular platform to activate the mechanism.
After the puzzle is complete, the nearby door will unlock. Go through the newly opened door to continue to the next puzzle.
Look for Eggie Within the Ruins – Second Room
As soon as you reach the second puzzle room, you’ll see a new Stasis Device with a sphere trapped inside. To free it, collect Archaeolune Energy from the nearby sphere. Then, aim at the Stasis Device and fire the energy to disable it, releasing the trapped sphere.
Once the sphere is free, push it into the nearby empty slot. This will activate the mechanism and unlock the door, allowing you to continue to the next area.
Look for Eggie Within the Ruins – Third Room
In the third puzzle room, you’ll first have to defeat the Level 99 enemies that appear. Once they’re defeated, you can begin solving the puzzle.
This puzzle works the same way as the previous room. You’ll find two empty sphere slots and two spheres trapped inside Stasis Devices. Collect Archaeolune Energy from the nearby moving mechanisms, then aim at each Stasis Device to release the trapped spheres.
After freeing both spheres, push each one into an empty slot. Once both slots are filled, the mechanism will activate, unlocking the nearby door. Head through the newly opened door to continue deeper into the ruins.
