Wuthering Waves: Lost History
This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the Lost History Side Quest in the Wuthering Waves game, that released on 22nd May 2024. This quest starts when you find and complete any of the five lighthouses in Huanglong. Then you will need to locate all five lighthouses and report back to the Historian at the location shown in the second picture below. Completing the quest will get you a Premium Supply Chest. This guide shows the location of all 5 lighthouses and how to solve them.
1) Lighthouse in Desorock Highland
You get the quest by talking to the Junior Engineer in Desorock Highland at the location shown in the pictures below.
After talking to the Junior Engineer, follow him to the lighthouse. Defeat the enemies that attack him in the path. Go east up the mountain to reach the lighthouse as shown in the picture below. Then talk to him there. He will ask you to hack into the lighthouse terminal system.

Jump up the platform on the lighthouse to reach the terminal. Then interact with it. Complete the decryption by connecting the same colors as shown in the picture below. This will complete the objective.
Search for Treasures
Go a little north from the lighthouse and interact with the glowing ground as shown in the picture below to find the treasure. this will complete the quest.
2) Lighthouse at the Nameless Bay
Go to the marked location and talk to the NPC there. Then use the levitator ability to insert the battery into the socket next to the NPC. Now you will see the glowing cable line. Follow the cable and hit the nodes on the line. This will power up the terminal on the lighthouse.
Complete the decryption of the terminal by connecting the same colors as shown in the picture below. Then collect the treasure from the location shown in the second picture below.
3) Lighthouse at the Frosting Harbour
The location of the lighthouse is shown in the picture below. Pick up the fireball and throw it on the thorns covering the lighthouse.
Climb to the top of the lighthouse and hack the terminal there by connecting the colors as shown in the picture below. This will start a recorded message. At the end of the message, you will get the puzzle as shown in the second picture below.
Now open the menu and change the in-game time to 6 AM or 7 AM as shown in the pictures below.
To solve the riddle, you need to go to the end of the lighthouse shadow as shown in the pictures below. When you reach the location, you will see some glow on the ground as shown in the second picture below. Interact with it to get a chest. This completes the puzzle.
4) Lighthouse at the Forbidden Forest
The location of the lighthouse is shown in the picture below. Pick up the fireball and throw it on the thorns covering the lighthouse. Hack the terminal of the lighthouse by connecting the colors as shown in the second picture below. Then go to the backside of the lighthouse to collect the treasure near the edge of the cliff.
5) Lighthouse at the Tiderise Cliff
The location of the lighthouse is shown in the picture below. Find two cells near the lighthouse and insert them into the two sockets nearby. This will power up the lighthouse. Hack the terminal of the lighthouse by connecting the colors as shown in the second picture below. Then go to the backside of the lighthouse to collect the treasure near the edge of the cliff as shown in the third picture below.
