This guide shows how to unlock The Lost Valley Domain in The Chasm area in Genshin Impact. The Chasm is on the west of Liyue. The Lost Valley Domain was introduced in Genshin Impact 2.6 update, which was released on 30th March 2022. The location of The Lost Valley Domain is marked in the picture below.
The Lost Valley: The ancient ritual grounds were buried beneath the earth amidst a cataclysm that tore heaven and earth asunder before being uplifted by the descent of an alien object, and finally unveiled by a destructive battle that resulted from a betrayal. Nonetheless, those who once frequented this place are no more.
How to unlock the Lost Valley Domain/ Chasm Domain
To unlock this domain, you will need a Geo character. Select a geo character and go to the location of the domain. Here you will see a giant rock blocking the path as shown in the picture below. Here you will also see a sealed chest on a circular platform, with a few Hilichurls near it. Defeat the Hilichurls and open the chest.
Now, cast a geo construct on the circular platform on which there was the chest before as shown in the picture below. This will activate the platform and a few wind rings will appear to the south of the platform.
Enter the wind ring to go to the giant rock on the south side as shown in the picture below. You can also climb up on this rock easily without using the wind ring. Use geo attack on this giant rock. This will make the shockwaves travel between the geo constructs. The geo construct that you placed on the circular platform will also become a medium and the shockwaves will travel through it and reach the giant rock blocking the path. This will break the giant rock and clear up the path leading up to the domain entrance. Go through the newly opened path and you will find the domain entrance inside.
