This guide shows where to find every code you need to open the lock in the MADiSON game (2022).

#1 Well Padlocks
As the game progress, you will be tasked with finding a red door in the basement after playing the old audio tape. Head to the basement and take a picture of the red door to unlock it.
Behind the door, you will find many candles leading up to the well. Three locks prevent you from opening this well. Two locks at the front and one at the back, creating a triangle shape.
To open locks, you must rotate the lock’s symbol correctly. The answer to the WELL puzzle may be found in a room towards the beginning of the game that has a TV and newspaper articles on the wall. One of the walls in the room has ritualistic symbols painted on it. Take a picture of it, and the symbols required to open the locks on the well will be displayed in the circles in the corresponding positions.
#2 Green Safe
This green safe is located in the room adjacent to the projector room. The combination to open the green safe will be different for each player. You can find the combination by combining two notepads. Combination in my case: 3 Left, 12 Right, 5 Left.
Notepad #1 Location: On the shelf inside the bathroom opposite Grandpa’s room.
Notepad #2 Location: Found in a drawer of the clock’s room and it requires bolt cutters to open.
#3 Red Safe (Grandpa’s Office)
You will get this code towards the end of the game when you have completed the Clock Room Puzzle. After coming out of the clock’s room, Luca will have another episode and he will draw the combination for the red safe in Grandpa’s office as shown in the picture below. The red marks in the drawing tell the number of times the dial on the safe need to be rotated in a particular direction. Please note that the red mark on the arrow also needs to be counted. The picture below shows the safe combination for my game (7 Left-4 Right-3 Left). This combination changes from game to game. You need to check the notebook in your game to know the correct combination. Now go to Grandpa’s Office and open the red safe to get Johnny’s Key.
#4 Ritual Room Padlock
You will encounter this padlock at the very beginning of the game, but you won’t be able to open it till the very end. To get this code, you will need to take 4 photos, which constitute around 40% of the game. Each photo will reveal one digit of the code.
