MADiSON: How to open the Basement’s Red Door

This guide shows how to open the basement door in MADiSON game (2022). As the game progress, you will find an old tape and then have to power on the generator to listen to the tape. After listening to the tape you will be tasked with finding a red door in the basement.

Madison Grandpa’s Basement Location

Head to the basement and pass through the door near the generator.

There is a short hallway with a series of shelves at the end just past the generator. Near the shelves, you will find an opening/gap in the wall that you can pass through. Pass through this tight gap to reach the other side to find the red door.

Then, approach the red door and take a photo with your camera.

Then shake the film to make the picture appear. This will unlock the door and you can pass through it now.
