Wuthering Waves: Make a dish at the picnic stove
This guide shows how to complete the “Make a dish at the picnic stove” objective for “The Past is the Future: Introduction” Quest in the Wuthering Waves game, that released on 22nd May 2024. The location of the picnic stove, where the objective is, is shown in the picture below. For this objective, you will have to make a skewer or a fish soup. Making either of the abovementioned items completes the quest. It’s easier to complete the quest by making a skewer, as you already have its recipe.
Make a Skewer
To make the skewer, you will need two ingredients: Meat and Lemongrass. Both of these items can be easily found near the picnic stove as shown in the pictures below. Kill the lamb to get its meat and collect Lemongrass from the plant.

How to get Milky Fish Soup Recipe
Go left at Resonance nexus in Jinzhou and talk to the mysterious woman with a cat as shown in the pictures below. Talking to her will start the “Listen to Animals Words: Translation of Cat’s Language” quest and you will get the Milky Fish Soup recipe.
Milky Fish Soup Ingredient
The ingredients required to prepare Milky Fish Soup are Fish Meat, Perilla, and Angelica. You can get fish meat very easily. Jump into one of the many ponds and lakes and catch fish to get its meat. Perilla can be found plenty east of Jinzhou, as shown in the pictures below. It is of blue color as shown in the second picture below and is very easy to spot. The third ingredient, Angelica, can be purchased from Mahe’s Grocery in Jinzhou as shown in the third picture below.
Make a dish at the picnic stove
Once you have the ingredients, interact with the portable stove as shown in the picture below. Then select the recipe and press the “Cook” button to start the cooking. Now you will have to wait for the cooking to be complete. To do that, simply sit on the chair and the cooking will be over, completing the objective.
