Where to Find the Matanzas Treasure Map
The Matanzas Treasure is unlocked using the Treasure Map found on Tortuga. Sail to Tortuga and head to the island’s eastern shoreline.
You’ll find a skeleton lying on the beach with the Treasure Map beside it. Collect the map to reveal the location of the buried treasure.
Matanzas Treasure Location
Now travel to Matanzas. The buried treasure is located in the southeastern corner of the island, just behind the waterfall and to the left of the Mayan Stelae.
Approach the marked spot and enter the waterfall.
Once you’re inside, look down at the ground to spot the Dig prompt. Interact with it to dig up the treasure chest.
