Meteorite Staff Location
Meteorite Staff is an S-Class staff, which means it scales with intelligence. The staff is in the Street of Sages Ruins, which is in the Caelid area as shown in the pictures below. This may seem far from the starting point, but there is a trick that will help you get the staff early in the game.
How to get Meteorite Staff Early
Go to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins, which is on the east of the starting location in Limgrave. Go to the basement of the ruins as shown in the pictures below.
In the basement, there will be sleeping rats. If you are crouched, they won’t notice you and you won’t have to fight them. Walk straight ahead after entering the basement and open the door in the basement. Inside the room, you will see a chest. This chest is a Transporter Trap. On opening the chest, you will be teleported to Sellia Crytal Tunnel as shown in the second picture below.
Sellia Crytal Tunnel is on the far east side of the map. The cave is full of difficult enemies. So, it will be better that you escape the cave instead of trying to defeat the enemies inside. After being teleported, you will find yourself inside a small wooden shack. You will see a miner going towards the left as shown in the picture below. Wait for the miner to move. When the path is clear, get out of the shack and go to the right side.
You will see a few mone miners on the right side of the path. Crouch and proceed ahead as shown in the picture below. The miners won’t be able to notice you.
Crouch and keep going ahead. Then take the path on the left side as shown in the picture below.
The path ahead is clear. In a short while, you will reach a Site of Grace as shown in the picture below. Rest here and then go outside the cave.
Note: It is important that you rest on the Site of Grace. After being teleported, you won’t be able to fast travel until you have rested on a Site of Grace.
After coming out from Sellia Crytal Tunnel, you will reach the Swamp of Aeonia. Go south along the shore and you will reach the Street of Sages Ruins in a little while as shown in the second picture below.
In the Street of Sages Ruins, go to the building at the southwest corner. If you look inside, you will see the staff is on a corpse hanging on the window. The room has a few poisonous flowers. So, you can take the staff by walking on the narrow ledge behind the building as shown in the pictures below. In the ruins, you will also find Rock Sling Spell.
