Mogawak Shrine: The Power of Water Puzzle

This guide shows how to complete The Power of Water Puzzle in the Mogawak Shrine in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, released on 12th May 2023. The Mogawak Shrine is at the location shown in the pictures below.

As you enter the shrine, you will see a battery cell on the ground as shown in the picture below. Grab it and place it on the charging station in front of the small waterfall on the right side as shown in the second picture below.

Now use the Untrahand ability to pick up the slab from the water and attach it to the rotating shaft next to the waterfall. Then rotate the shaft such that one of the slabs comes under the waterfall as shown in the picture below. This will make the shaft rotate infinitely, charging the power cell as shown in the second picture below.

Grab the power cell and place it on the power station on the opposite side as shown in the picture below. Then use the Ultrahand ability to move the two spheres under the water closer as shown in the second picture below. This will complete the circuit, opening the iron gate on the opposite side as shown in the third picture below. Swim across from the right side, avoiding the charged area. Then open the chest to get Opal.

Now go back to the main area. Charge the power cell. Then grab it and climb up the elevator as shown in the picture below. Place the cell on the power station next to the elevator. This will take the elevator up. Get the Light of Blessing there to complete the shrine.
