‘Monkey See’ is one of the secret trophies that you can unlock in the Iki Island, which was introduced in the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut DLC expansion, released on 20th August 2021. To unlock the trophy you will have to find three monkey statues in Mount Saruiwa at the southwest edge of Iki Island, and perform specific actions in front of the statues. After that, you will have to go to the monkey sanctuary and complete the task there. This article shows the location of the monkey statues & the monkey sanctuary and how to unlock the trophy.

Monkey Statue 1: Monkey with Ears Covered
Go to Mount Saruiwa at the southwest edge of Iki Island at the location highlighted with a red arrow in the picture below.
AT the location highlighted above you will find a couple of monkey statues as shown in the picture below. Go through the path between the two statues.
A little ahead on the path climb up the rocks using the grappling hook.
After climbing the rock you will have two paths ahead of you. The grappling point will lead you to Monkey statue 1, up the mountain. The other path is through a gap on the mountain wall. This path will lead you to the other two monkey statues. First, take the grappling hook path and climb up the mountain.
Going up you will find another grappling point. Use the grappling hook to reach the top of the mountain.
At the top of the mountain, you will find a rope. Walk over it to reach the first monkey statue (Monkey with Ears Covered) as shown in the picture below.
Play flute in the font of the statue for a small cutscene.
Monkey Statue 2: Monkey with Eyes Covered
Go back to the point where you saw a small gap on the mountain wall.
Pass through the small gap and walk in a linear path for a little while.
After a short distance, you will reach a mountain arch. Crossing the arch leads to Monkey Statue 3. Drop down from the right side of the mountain as shown in the pictures below to reach Monkey Statue 2 (Monkey with Eyes Covered)
Drop a smoke bomb in the font of the statue for a small cutscene.
Monkey Statue 3: Monkey with Mouth Covered
Climb back up and pass through the mountain arch to make your way to the third statue.
After crossing the mountain arch you will reach a narrow wooden bridge as shown in the picture below. At the end of the narrow wooden bridge, there is a grappling point. Use the grappling hook to drop down a small platform on the mountain as shown in the picture below.
From the above-mentioned platform, drop down to another platform on the mountain. Here you will find a grappling point on the right side. use it to drop further down as shown in the pictures below.
From the above-mentioned location, drop down further below, then walk over the rope on the left side to reach a grappling point as shown below.
Use the grappling point mentioned above, to jump down. From there jump into the water and swim ahead to reach the third money statue ( Monkey with Mouth Covered) as shown in the pictures below.

Saruiwa Monkey Sanctuary
Go back up to the narrow wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and climb up the mountain as shown in the picture below.
At the top, you will find a grappling point on a vertical branch. Pull the branch for it to become horizontal.
Climb the branch and use the grappling hook to reach the rope ahead of it.
Climb the rope. Then jump and pass through the small gap on the mountain wall.
Move ahead in a linear path till you reach the location as shown in the picture below. At the end up of the path climb up the mountain.
Climb the rocks and jump on the ledge on the left as shown below.
From the ledge, jump to the rocky platform on the left side as shown below.
On the left end of the platform mentioned above, you will see a grappling point (See picture below). Use your grappling hook to jump down and walk over the rope to move ahead on the left side as shown in the pictures below.
After walking over the rope mentioned above, you will find another rope. Walk over it till the end.
Here you can see two grappling points. Use them to jump across to another platform ahead of you.
From here keep climbing until you see a grappling point. Use the grappling point to climb further up until you reach a small platform on the mountain.
At the top, you will find a grappling point on a vertical branch. Pull the branch for it to become horizontal.
Climb up the horizontal branch. Here you can see three grappling points. Use your grappling hook to jump across to the platform ahead.
Climb up to the top and walk in a linear path to reach the Monkey Sanctuary.
Press R2 at the interaction point. Play flute for the monkey by tilting the controller up and down. The trophy will be unlocked on completion of the challenge.
