Elden Ring: Moore Questline Complete Guide
This guide shows the complete walkthrough of Ymir & Jolan NPCs’ questlines in Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, released on 21st June 2023. Click here for a Video Walkthrough.
Step 1: Talk to Moore at the start of the Game
Talk to Moore near the Main Gate Cross as shown in the picture below, early in the DLC. He will become a merchant.
Step 2: Talk to Moore Again
Talk to Moore again after progressing in the game, but before a great rune is broken. He will give you Black Syrup as shown in the picture below.
Step 3: Give the Black Syrup to Thiollier
Go to Pillar Path Cross as shown in the pictures below and give the Black Syrup to Thiollier. Exhaust all the dialogues and you will get Thiollier’s Concoction.
Step 4: Talk to Moore After A Great Rune is Broken
Progress in the story, till you reach Shadow Keep, and get a message that “Somewhere, a great rune has broken”, as shown in the picture below.
Now go and talk to Moore. You will get three choices as shown in the picture below. Based on the choice you select, you will get three separate endings for Moore’s Questline.
Moore’s Ending 1: Put it Behind You
If you select the “Put it Behind You” option, then Moore will join Leda in the fight against you (Just before the final boss fight) as shown in the pictures below. After the fight is over, you can collect Moore’s Armor Set from his corpse (Verdigris Greatshield, Verdigris Helm, Verdigris Armor, Verdigris Gauntlets, Verdigris Greaves).
Moore’s Ending 2: Remain Sad Forever
If you select the “Remain Sad Forever” option, then you will find Moore’s corpse on the edge of the cliff near the Church of Crusade as shown in the pictures below. You can collect Moore’s Armor Set from his corpse (Verdigris Greatshield, Verdigris Helm, Verdigris Armor, Verdigris Gauntlets, Verdigris Greaves).
Moore’s Ending 3: Didn’t Talk to Moore
Progress in the story till the point of no return (Burn the Sealing Tree). Moore is one of the few NPCs who will remain at their location after you have burned the Sealing Tree. Now, go and kill a Forager Brood. The location of one of the Forager Broods is shown in the pictures below.
Go to Moore and talk to him after killing the Forager Brood.
Now go and kill another Forager Brood. The location of another Forager Brood is shown in the pictures below. When you kill the second Forager Brood, you will be invaded by Moore as shown in the third picture below. If Moore does not invade you, then you may need to find and kill more Forager Brood for Moore to invade you. Defeat Moore and then you can collect Moore’s Armor Set from his corpse (Verdigris Greatshield, Verdigris Helm, Verdigris Armor, Verdigris Gauntlets, Verdigris Greaves).
