“Neko is a Cat” is a time-gated questline that you could complete on Seirai Island of the Inazuma region. Seirai Island was introduced on 1st September 2021. The questline consists of 9 quests, which will take at least 9 days to complete. Completing all the 9 quests will unlock ‘Cat in the Clouds‘ Hidden Achievement.
Day 1: Neko is a Cat: Offering Box
The first step is to complete the ‘Neko is a Cat: Offering Box’ World Quest. You will get the quest by talking to Neko in Asase Shrine (Location Shown Below). For the quest, you will have to clear the dirt around Asase Shrine. There will be 4 spots around the shrine as shown in the second picture below. Use Anemo or Hydro attack to clean the dirt. This will complete the quest.
Day 2: Neko is a Cat: Wooden Rack
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: Wooden Rack’ World Quest. For this quest, you will have to Investigate the Prayer Rack. Turn left and go to the rack as shown below. Interact with it to repair the rack. This will complete the quest.
Day 3: Neko is a Cat: The Children
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: The Children’ World Quest. Your first objective will be to find Hachihou on the seashore. You will find the cat on the beach at the southern point of the search area as shown in the picture below. Your next objective will be to find Kunbomaru at a high place. You will find the second cat inside the big tree stump behind Asase Shrine as shown in the second picture below.
Day 4: Neko is a Cat: Shrine Recipe
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: Shrine Recipe’ World Quest. First, you will have to talk to Taisuke and Eiko, whom you will find near the shrine. Next, you will have to talk to Kiminami Anna in Inazuma City as shown in the below picture. Bring her three servings of seagrass and she will give you Invigorating Kitty Meal. learn the recipe and cook three Invigorating Kitty Meals. Go back to Asase Shrine and feed the cats by filling three feeding bowls at marked locations as shown in the second picture below. This will complete the quest.
Day 5: Neko is a Cat: Cat and Stone
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: Cat and Stone’ World Quest. First, you will have to talk to Taisuke and Eiko, whom you will find near the shrine. Then go and talk to the artisan at the highlighted location in Tatarasuna. Go back and talk to Neko to complete the quest.
Day 6: Neko is a Cat: Stone Human’s Troubles
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: Stone Human’s Troubles’ World Quest. For the first objective go and talk to Junpei, whose location will be marked on the map. Give him three iron chunks and then report back to Neko to complete the quest.
Day 7: Neko is a Cat: Shrine Canteen
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: Shrine Canteen’ World Quest. Go and talk to Junpei again. Give him three raw meat to complete the quest.
Day 8: Neko is a Cat: Ding-a-Ling Metal Ball
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: Ding-a-Ling Metal Ball’ World Quest. Hang three bells around the shrine as shown in the picture below to complete the quest.
Day 9: Neko is a Cat: A Good Turn Comes Late
Go and talk to Neko the next day (Real Life) to start ‘Neko is a Cat: A Good Turn Comes Late’ World Quest. Go and talk to Junpei again. Give him three raw meat to complete the quest.to complete the questline. This will unlock ‘Cat in the Clouds‘ Hidden Achievement.
