This guide shows how to complete the “O Chicken, Where Art Thou” Side Quest in chapter 9 in the Corel Region of the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game, released on 29th February 2024.

Starting Location
To begin the subquest, go to the Gongaga Village Community Noticeboard or speak with Grandma Hen. She will inform the player that her chicken coop is in a bad state and that some of her chickens have run away. She is seeking someone who can help her find the lost chickens.
Recapture the Chickens
After accepting the quest, start to follow Red XIII to locate the first chicken. Throw the Feed Clanger near the chickens to lure them to return to the coop. As the chicken approaches the Feed Clanger, move it away from it. Continue going backward toward the chicken coop and continue luring them.
If the second chicken gets a question mark over its head, stop pulling the Feed Clanger and wait for the question mark to turn to an exclamation mark before continuing.
For the third chicken, follow the same method to lure. Look for three red dots to appear above its head that will indicate that the chicken will charge toward the Feed Clanger. Pull the clanger just before it reaches the Feed Clanger.
Track Down Pippily
Follow Red again to find Pippily in a field.
Recapture Pippily
Start to lure Pippily and at this time a Levridon will attack you. Defeat it and Pippily will go back to the coop on its own.
Report to Kazhra
Return to Kazhra at the chicken coop to end the quest.
