This guide shows the complete walkthrough of the “Observatory” story quest in Dying Light 2. This is a very small and simple quest but may get a little tricky because of a bug.
Description: Rowe believed that the Observatory and its GRE databases had been destroyed during the bombing. I went to check it out.
How to Get to the Observatory GRE Base
After you get the quest, go to the location marked in the picture below.
At the highlighted location, you will see a wooden plank as shown below. You need to move the plank to proceed ahead.
Approach the wooden plank and you will get the option to move it as shown below. Due to a bug, the “Move” option might not appear. If that happens, then you can restart the game and try again. There is no workaround for this bug yet. Once the wooden plank is moved, Aiden will crouch and go to the other side. A cutscene will start and the quest will be complete after the cutscene.
