Onimusha 2: Remastered – All Necklace Locations Guide

Necklaces are essential collectibles in Onimusha 2: Remastered, used to increase your character’s health and magic capacity. This guide will help you locate every necklace throughout the game of Onimusha 2: Remastered.

Orange Necklace

Follow the steps below on how to find the Orange Necklace.

Step 1: Get Chalk

On your second visit to Imasho Town (after completing the Gold Mine), head to the back of the item shop and speak with the NPC there. He’ll give you the “Chalk” – a key item needed to get the Orange Necklace.

Step 2: Get Tale of the Heike

Step 2: Find Ekei and give him the “Chalk.” In return, he’ll reward you with the “Tale of the Heike”.

Step 3: Exchange Tale of the Heike with Emblem

Take the “Tale of the Heike” to Magoichi. Hand it over, and he’ll give you the “Emblem” in exchange

Step 4: Get Cantaloupe

Give the “Emblem” to Kotaro. In return, he’ll hand you the “Cantaloupe”.

Step 5: Give the Cantaloupe to the NPC

Bring the “Cantaloupe” back to the NPC in Imasho Town who originally gave you the “Chalk.”

Step 6: Collect the Orange Necklace

On your third visit to Imasho Town (after completing Gifu Castle), return to the item shop. A new NPC will be standing next to the man who originally gave you the “Chalk.” Talk to him, and he’ll reward you with the Orange Necklace

White Necklace

To earn the White Necklace, you’ll need to buy out all items from the shop in Imasho Town during each of your three visits.

  • First Visit: Before heading to the Gold Mine, purchase every available item from the shop.
  • Second Visit: After completing the Gold Mine and before going to Gifu Castle, return and buy all newly available items.
  • Third Visit: After completing Gifu Castle, return once more and buy everything the shop has in stock.

Once you’ve cleared the shop out on all three visits, speak to the shopkeeper. As a reward, he’ll give you the White Necklace.

Green Necklace

To obtain the Green Necklace in Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny, you must return to Yagyu Village for a second time, which happens after you leave Imasho Town for the final time. Once you come back from the cave with the Ring of Takajo, speak to Magoichi.

If your bond is strong enough, he’ll reward you with the Saiga Bomb.

Take the Saiga Bomb and use it to blast the rock near the shrine in the village to find the Green Necklace.

Red Necklace

To get the Red Necklace in Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny, you need to play as Jubei on the first floor of Onigashima. After you pick up the Circle Key, go back toward the room where you started. If you are good friends with Oyu, she will be waiting for you in the hallway with the wall pictures.

Talk to her, and some enemies will show up. Beat them, and a secret room will open. Inside that room, you’ll find the Red Necklace.

Purple Necklace

To get the Purple Necklace in Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny, go to the Gifu Castle East Area and open the chest near the Save Point to get the Green Wedge.

Then, find the door with a magic seal on it and hit it with the Buraitou sword to break the seal. Go inside and stand on the beam of light, then use the Green Wedge. This will take you to the Demon Realm. Defeat all the enemies on every floor, and at the end, you’ll find a chest with the Purple Necklace inside.

Yellow Necklace

To get the Yellow Necklace, go to Onigashima and take the lift down to the Underground. If you are good friends with Ekei, a special cutscene will play when you reach the dead end in the room with all the big containers. After the cutscene, an enemy will appear. Beat the enemy, then open the chest nearby to get the Yellow Necklace.

Blue Necklace

To get the Blue Necklace, go to the Demon Cave and take the left path. If you are good friends with Kotaro, a special cutscene will happen. Kotaro will chase Oyu, and they will find a secret room. After the scene, go into the secret room to find the Blue Necklace.

Black Necklace

Step 1: Fossilized Bone #1

To begin your quest for the Black Necklace, you need to obtain the first Fossilized Bone by trading B Rank Gifts with Magoichi. Since this item is a rare reward, it’s smart to save your game before giving him any gifts. If he doesn’t give you the Fossilized Bone, simply reload your save and try again until you get it.

Step 2: Fossilized Bone #2

To begin your quest for the Black Necklace, you need to obtain the second Fossilized Bone by trading B Rank Gifts with Ekei. This is a rare item, so save first. If you don’t get it, reload and try again.

Step 3: Fossilized Bone #3

To begin your quest for the Black Necklace, you need to obtain the third Fossilized Bone by trading B Rank Gifts with Kotaro. This is a rare item, so save first. If you don’t get it, reload and try again.

Step 4: Unlock a door in Onigashima Passages

Near the end of the game, at Onigashima Passages, use all three Fossilized Bones on the door. This will reveal a Puzzle Box.

Solve the puzzle to open the box to get the Black Necklace.
