“The Phaethons Syrtos” is a world quest that you get in the Enkanomiya area, introduced in Genshin Impact 2.4. This guide shows how to start the quest, how to get the Divine Bridle, and the complete walkthrough of the quest.

How to start The Phaethons Syrtos World Quest

You will get this quest in Evernight Temple at the location marked in the picture below. The quest giver is behind a barrier as shown in the second picture below and you won’t be able to reach him.

To remove the barrier, you will need to guide two Seelies to their courts in front of the barrier. One of the Seelie is on a broken bridge east of the barrier as shown in the picture below. The second Seelie is a little north of the broken bridge as shown in the second picture below.

Guide both the Seelie to their court in front of the barrier. This will remove the barrier. Then go inside and talk to the ghost to start the quest.

Offer a Sango Pearl to the seven royal tombs

The location of the seven tombs is shown in the pictures below. The tombs are in open areas and are very easy to reach. Interact with the seven tombs and offer Sango Pearl to them to complete the objective.

Go to where Clymene is

Go back and talk to Clymene Ghost in Evernight Temple at the same location where you got the quest.

Go to the Soul Guide’s Locus & Talk to Clymene

After talking to Clymene, get out of the room and take the blue translucent path to reach the objective marker as shown in the picture below. On reaching the objective marker, a platform will appear, with Clymene standing on it. Go and talk to Clymene.

Obtain the Divine Bridle

To get the Divine Bridle, you will need to complete the “Hyperion’s Dirge” world quest. To start the quest, go to the fast travel point at the top of Dainichi Mikoshi. From the west side of the waypoint, jump down to the level below. Here you will see 2 torches as shown in the picture below. If torches are not there, then you will have to switch to Evernight. Then light the torch using a fire attack. This will make the wall behind the torches disappear, making a path to go inside. Go inside and talk to Aberaku to start the “Hyperion’s Dirge” quest. For this quest, you will need to find the three fragments of Aberaku’s Soul (Offerings of the temple).

Offerings of the temple 1: Serpent’s Heart Inquiry

Go to The Serpent’s Heart at the location marked in the picture below. Here you will find 5 Seals as shown in the second picture below. Undo the seals using Key Sigils, which you will find around in the Enkanomiya area. On unlocking the seals, Aberaku will appear. Talk to him to start the “Serpent’s Heart Inquiry” quest. Talk to Aberaku again to start a challenge. Complete the challenge to obtain an Offerings of the temple.

Offerings of the temple 2: Temple Inquiry

Go to the Evernight temple at the location marked in the picture below. Here you will find 5 Seals. Undo the seals using Key Sigils, which you will find around in the Enkanomiya area. On unlocking the seals, Aberaku will appear. Talk to him to start the “Temple Inquiry” quest. Talk to Aberaku again to start a challenge. Complete the challenge to obtain an Offerings of the temple.

Offerings of the temple 3: Narrow Inquiry

Go to The Narrows at the location marked in the picture below. Here you will find 5 Seals. Undo the seals using Key Sigils, which you will find around in the Enkanomiya area. On unlocking the seals, Aberaku will appear. Talk to him to start the “Temple Inquiry” quest. Talk to Aberaku again to start a challenge. Complete the challenge to obtain an Offerings of the temple.

Once you have the three Offerings of the temple, go back to Aberaku location in Dainichi Mikoshi. Place the three offerings on the pillars behind Aberaku as shown in the picture below.

Reach the top of the Dainichi Mikoshi

After you have placed the offerings, a ball-shaped phase gate will appear in front of Aberaku. Enter it to reach the top of the Dainichi Mikoshi. Speak to Aberaku at the top to get the Divine Bridle.

Place the Divine Bridle within the Waters

Go back to Clymene’s location in the Evernight Temple and place the Divine Bridle within the waters on the platform on which Clymene is standing. Now talk to Clymene to complete the quest.
