In Phantom Blade Zero, the Purge the Sect side quest asks you to help an old archer deal with his former students, who have become corrupted. In this article, we’ll show you where to find the old archer, how to locate all his corrupted disciples, and how to complete the Purge the Sect side quest.
Starting Location:
Travel to the Outpost Bell fast travel point and head east towards the two houses. You’ll find an NPC standing on the roof of a hut. Climb onto the roof of the left house and speak with the old man.
He’ll tell you that he once trained a group of archers, but they have now become corrupted. He’ll ask you to help him by finding and defeating all of his former disciples.
How to Eliminate Old Archer’s Corrupted Disciple in Phantom Blade Zero
Travel to the Ruthless Archer Camp, which is located north of the Creek Valley Plains Entrance Bell. Defeat all the Old Archer’s corrupted disciples in the area. You don’t need to cross the large wooden hanging bridge, as all the archers you need to defeat are located just before it.
Explore the camp and take out all the enemies. One of the archers near the wooden steps will drop the Broken-String Feather Bow when defeated.
Once you have the Broken-String Feather Bow, return to the Weeping Creek Valley Outpost Bell and speak with the Old Archer on the roof of the house where you first met him.
Speak with him and hand over the Broken-String Feather Bow. The old man will recognise his weapon, repair it, and give you the Feather Bow in return. This completes the Purge the Sect side quest.
