This article will guide the player on how to complete the objective “Place Electric Mining Rigs on the Amethyst Ore mining spot and power them up in the quest ‘Paving the Way’ for the game Arknights: Endfield, released on 22nd Jan 2026
As the player progresses through the quest, you will need to complete the Electric Mining Rig Simulation tutorial. Here, they will learn how to place Mining Rigs and Electric Pylons, then power up the rigs to start the transmission.
How to Place Electric Mining Rigs on Mining Spots
First, head to the Originium mining spots and place two Electric Mining Rigs. Refer to the location below.
To place the mining rigs, press the “TAB” button to open AIC Mode. Choose the Electric Mining Rig from the open menu tab and place it on the mining spot (purple crystals). There are two purple crystal spots, so you need to place two mining spots.
Next, place one Electric Pylon between the two Electric Mining Rigs. Then, place another Electric Pylon between the Originium mining area and the Automation Core.
After that, go to the Automation Core and start the transmission. This lets you draw a power line to the nearest Electric Pylon. From there, draw another power line to the Electric Pylon between the two Mining Rigs.
Once both pylons are connected, the power will reach the Mining Rigs and turn them on. Note: If the rigs are far apart, you may need to place an extra Electric Pylon to complete the connection and power both rigs.
