How to Plant the Confidential Files at Laredo Firearms in Starfield
Laredo Firearms is located a little distance to the right of the Akila City entrance point. Head inside to find some people who will let you snoop around freely.
Proceed upstairs through the door on the left corner.
There’s an NPC up here sitting on a chair. Crouch and proceed to the closed door behind him. Enter the side chamber by unlocking the digipick-linked door
Here you will find a chest. Examine the chest and open it again by unlocking the digipick-linked door.
Then, while still in the chest’s menu, go to your inventory and leave the Confidential Files inside the chest.
