Pragmata has a secret ending that most players will likely miss on their first playthrough. Getting it requires a bit of extra work beyond just finishing the main story, but it’s well worth it. In this guide, we’ll break down exactly what you need to do to unlock the secret ending.
Step 1: Finish the Game and Start Unknown Signal Mode
First, you need to complete the main campaign from start to finish. Once you’re done, start the Unknown Signal post-game mode and load your “Completed Save” file to kick things off.
Step 2: Travel to the Hidden Chamber
With Unknown Signal up and running, make your way to the new area called the Hidden Chamber. This is where the bulk of the work for the secret ending takes place.
Step 3: Complete All 10 Challenges in the Hidden Chamber
Inside the Hidden Chamber, you’ll need to finish all 10 challenges. Before you can access all of them, you’ll need to reach 100% completion across every area in the game. So if you haven’t done that yet, go back and wrap up any unfinished business in each sector.
Step 4: Collect the Black Box Mod
Once you’ve cleared all 10 challenges, you’ll earn the Black Box Mod as your reward. Make sure you pick it up, as it’s the key item you need to trigger the secret ending.
Step 5: Equip the Black Box Mod and Defeat the Final Boss Again
Equip the Black Box Mod in one of Hugh’s mod slots, then head back and take on the final boss one more time.
With the mod equipped, the ending will play out as normal, but stay through the post-credits scene. There’s a little something extra waiting for you right at the very end.
