Half-A-Minds are collectibles that you will find in the Mental Worlds. Collecting 2 of these will help you increase your mental health pool by 1 brain. There are a total of 22 Half-A-Minds in the game. This article shows the location of all the Half-A-Minds and how to get them.
#1 Hollis’ Classroom: Half-A-Mind 1/2
The first Half-A-Mind is at the center of the morgue in Holli’s Classroom. This one is impossible to miss.
#2 Hollis’ Classroom: Half-A-Mind 2/2
This Half-A-Mind is in the same room as the first one. It’s on a platform up above in the room. You will have to use mental connections to reach there.
#3 Hollis Hot Streak: Half-A-Mind 1/4
The Half-A-Mind is in the first section, Shattered Classroom, of Hollis Hot Streak. It is on a platform as shown in the picture below. You will have to reach there using the mental connection.
#4 Hollis Hot Streak: Half-A-Mind 2/4
This Half-A-Mind is also in Shattered Classroom of Hollis Hot Streak. It is on a platform at the opposite end from where you find the previous Half-A-Mind.
#5 Hollis Hot Streak: Half-A-Mind 3/4
This one is in the backroom of the Cardiology area in Hollis Hot Streak. Right after the start of the platforming section, you will have to pass through a door with green curtains next to it as shown in the picture below. Pass through the door and turn left. There you will find the Half-A-Mind next to a figment.
#6 Hollis Hot Streak: Half-A-Mind 4/4
This Half-A-Mind is in the backroom of the Maternity area in Hollis Hot Streak. During the platforming section, you will come to a location with three rotating platforms in the shape of coins. Near the coins, you will find the Half-A-Mind on top of a couple of dice as shown in the picture below.
#7 Ford’s Follicles: Half-A-Mind 1/1
After fighting a few Censors for the first time, continue moving forward. Shortly before you reach an area with few more Censors, you will pass through a room with a poster that read “War Going On?”. In front of the room, there is a Memory Vault. You will find the Half-A-Mind on a platform on the right side of the poster as shown in the picture below.
#8 Compton’s Cookoff: Half-A-Mind 1/2
You will get this Half-A-Mind by completing the first cooking round within 8 minutes. On completion of the challenge, you will get the Half-A-Mind from the bronze mystery box.
#9 Compton’s Cookoff: Half-A-Mind 2/2
You will get this Half-A-Mind by completing the second cooking round within 4 minutes. On completion of the challenge, you will get the Half-A-Mind from the silver mystery box.
#10 Strike City: Half-A-Mind 1/1
This one is near the elevator in the construction site of Strike City. It is on top of a beam coming off from the main path that you have to coss and is almost impossible to miss.
#11 PSI King’s Sensorium: Half-A-Mind 1/4
This Half-A-Mind is in the backstage area of PSI King’s Sensorium. Go underneath the stage from the location as shown in the picture below. At the end of the path, you will find a Suitcase. In front of the suitcase, there is a poster. Burn the poster and go inside to collect the Half-A-Mind.
#12 PSI King’s Sensorium: Half-A-Mind 2/4
This one is in the Eye Shrine section of the PSI King’s Sensorium. After taking the first light bridge, turn left and you can see the Half-A-Mind on a platform. Use Time Bubble on the rotating fan in front of the platform to slow it down. then jump and get the Half-A-Mind.
#13 PSI King’s Sensorium: Half-A-Mind 3/4
The Half-A-Mind is in the Nose-Mouth Shrine section of the PSI King’s Sensorium. At the end of the section, go left on the platform on which the instruments are kept as shown in the picture below. Switch on the light bridge, then use the Time Bubble on the rotating fan to move forward and get the Half-A-Mind.
#14 PSI King’s Sensorium: Half-A-Mind 4/4
This one is in the woods section of PSI King’s Sensorium. You go to the woods section by driving the bus. In the woods, go to the mountain top near the waterfall (You will have to talk to Dr. Touch here as part of the main mission). On reaching the top of the mountain, turn left and you can see the Half-A-Mind on the other side of the waterfall as shown in the picture below.
#15 Cruller’s Correspondence: Half-A-Mind 1/1
The Half-A-Mind is in the “International Dead Letter Office” section of the Cruller’s Correspondence. Jump down the big slope of letters and at the bottom, you can find the Half-A-Mind at the top of a platform as shown in the picture below.
#16 Tomb Of The Sharkophagus: Half-A-Mind 1/1
You will find this Half-A-Mind in the Mailroom section of the Tomb Of The Sharkophagus. You will get it after the third drop.
#17 Cassie’s Collection: Half-A-Mind 1/2
This Half-A-Mind is in the Children’s Corner of Cassie’s Collection level. The gate to enter Children’s Corner is at the central area of the library where the librarian is. To open the gate you will need Projection ability, which you will get during the first section of this level. Use the Projection ability to open the gate and go inside. Then go to the upper floor inside Children’s Corner. Here you will find a closed door that can be opened using the Projection ability. You will find the Half-A-Mind inside this door.
#18 Cassie’s Collection: Half-A-Mind 2/2
You will get this Half-A-Mind inside the Literature Lane of Cassie’s Collection level. The gate to enter Literature Lane is at the central area of the library where the librarian is. To open the gate you will need Projection ability, which you will get during the first section of this level. Use the Projection ability to open the gate and go inside. Here you will find the Half-A-Mind at the right side of the room.
#19 Bob’s Bottles: Half-A-Mind 1/2
This Half-A-Mind is on one of Bob’s Islands with a man named Truman Zanotto on it. On this island, Half-A-Mind is behind a big rock near the water as shown in the picture below.
#20 Bob’s Bottles: Half-A-Mind 2/2
During Bob’s Bottles mission you will have to enter a blue bottle. The Half-A-Mind is in the Viking Reception section of this area. It is above a ship in the Viking Reception. To reach the top of the ship you will need the Dark Though memory connection, which you can get after reaching rank 30.
#21 Fatherland Follies: Half-A-Mind 1/2
This Half-A-Mind is in “The Fall of Grulovia” section of Fatherland Follies. During the first ride, you will enter an area with lots of cardboard people dancing. As you enter the area you can see a waterwheel on the left side as shown in the picture below. The Half-A-Mind is behind the waterwheel. You can reach there through the small passage on the right side of the waterwheel as shown in the picture below.
#22 Fatherland Follies: Half-A-Mind 2/2
The final Half-A-Mind is in the “Life In Exile” section of Fatherland Follies. This is after completion of the first ride when you will be tasked to find an egg. Go to the console with an intercom. Change the prop to Cacti & Fish and change the background scenery to the Desert Wasteland as shown in the picture below. You have to enter the small hole in the hut in the background scenery. Jump on the ledges at the back of the cacti and fish to enter the hole. You will find the Half-A-Mind here at the backside of the room.
