Pursue the pained creature underground | God of War Ragnarok

This guide shows you how to complete the objective “Pursue the pained creature underground” of the Favor (Side Quest) – “Secret of the Sands” for Sindri in God of War Ragnarok.

Pursue the pained creature underground

Enter the cave to reach The Below area. This region has a linear path. Use the purple crystal and levitated axe to destroy the set of three blockages on your way. Note: Here point to the Blue Crystal and move the line to touch all three blockages before hitting the axe.

Climb up the ledge directly before the Nornir Chest area and go in the left direction. Use the zip line to cross the gap.

Once on the other side, turn right to locate a climbing section on the mountain wall. There are two gates on the other side of the gap. You need to go inside GATE 2. Please see the image below.

Grapple across the mountain walls and then throw your axe at the purple crystal to clear the blockage.

Climb back the mountain walls and grapple around the mountain to reach the back side of Gate #2.

GATE #2 is not required to open for this Favor. You can open it to get Nornir Chest. To get the Nornir Chest, open Gate #1 and Gate 2 and then hit the seals quickly.

Continue inside the GATE #2 area, and drop down to a larger area. Defeat all the enemies and crouch through the hole on the left side to reach an open area.

Clear the golden blockage by blowing up fire vessels behind it and then drop down the ledge. (Another blockage on the right side leads to Legendary Chests)

Continue further on to reach an area with multiple blockages. Use levitated axe and purple crystal to destroy the first three blockages as shown in the image. Note: Here point to the Blue Crystal and move the line to touch all three blockages before hitting the axe.

The straight path is blocked with Golden Stones. Head to the right path and look between the gaps and blow the fire vessels to clear the blocked path

Continue further and use the levitated axe and purple crystal to destroy the 2nd set of three blockages as shown in the image.

Throw the axe to rotate the hanging mechanism so that the purple surface faces the blockages. Use the levitated axe and purple crystal to destroy the 3rd set of three blockages as shown in the image.

Continue in a linear path, defeat all the enemies and then climb up the wall to reach Hafgufa.
