This guide shows how to complete the “Climb up Launch Tower” & “Shoot Shuttle Cable Connectors” objectives in the “Reach for the Stars” main quest in Horizon Forbidden West.
Climb up the Launch Tower
As the objective starts, you will be at the location marked below.
Go near the rusted elevator and use your pullcaster to pull the steel beam protruding into the elevator wall as shown in the picture below. After you have pulled out the beam, the elevator will fall down.
Go inside the elevator and climb up through the opening on the roof of the elevator. Then climb up the ledges on the wall to reach the upper floor. Go right, climb up the broken stairs and jump on the ledge as shown in the picture below. The objective will update at this point.
Shoot Shuttle Cable Connectors
Take the stairs to the upper level. Grab the ledge here, to climb the platform as shown below.
From there, jump on the beams to reach the other side as shown below.
Then go straight ahead and turn right. Here you will find another set of beams you will have to jump across. After that climb up the ladder on the left side. Then immediately turn left and you will see the first Shuttle Cable Connector as shown below. Shoot this Shuttle Cable Connector.
Now turn around and climb up the half-broken stairs. Grapple to the central pipe as shown in the picture below.
Then use the ledges to climb up the central pipe as shown in the picture below. Then take the ledges to go left.
Drop down the ledges to reach the upper floor. Then jump on the beams to reach the other side as shown in the picture below.
Here you will find another set of beams you will have to jump across. After that climb up the ladder on the left side. Then immediately turn left and you will see the second Shuttle Cable Connector as shown below. Shoot this Shuttle Cable Connector to complete the objective.
