Reminiscence of Seirai Island is a world quest in Genshin Impact 2.1 in which players discover a strange image while exploring Seirai Island. Ora Tarou then commissions you to take a few more photos of Seirai Island. This walkthrough demonstrates how to complete the world quest Reminiscence of Seirai Island and assist Ora Tarou by photographing his ancestral island with Kamera.
How to obtain Reminiscence of Seirai Island World Quest
This world quest will not appear in your world quest list initially. For this first, you have to find a strange image of exploring Seirai Island. Head to the northeast of Fort Hiraumi island to locate the strange picture. I have marked the location of the picture on the map. Interact with the miniature hut relic on the right side to collect the picture. This strange picture will appear in your inventory’s quest items. After getting the picture you can see “Reminiscence of Seirai Island” in your world quest list.
Ask the Adventurers some questions
As the quest starts your first goal will be to talk with the adventurer in Inazuma City. You can use the nearest Teleport Waypoint to reach Inazuma City. Talk with Furuya Noboru near the bridge. He informs that a person name Ora Tarou can help Traveler as his ancestors were residents of Seirai Island
Ask Ora Tarou some questions
Head to the bridge outside Inazuma City to meet Ora Tarou. Refer to the map for his location. He will commission you to take a few more pictures from his ancestral hometown island.
Go to Seirai Island and take pictures (0/4)
You can see three more new pictures appearing in your inventory’s quest items. Your next task is to take four pictures from Seirai Island matching these four pictures. Head to Sierra Island using the nearest teleport waypoint. Below I have marked the location on the map and the exact location from where you can take pictures.
Pictures (1/4)
For the first picture head to the Seiraimaru island located west of Koseki village. You will find a small rock (island) on the western coast of the island just opposite the ship wreckage. Refer to the map for the exact location. Neutralize all three monsters on the rocky island. Now Stand on the rock and look toward the island (east-facing) and ship wreckage.
Now, Players need to go to the options menu and click on the Take Photo option. This will allow them to customize the camera angles and positioning and capture their desired image. Adjust the camera angles until you get the message on the screen “Camera has been adjusted to the correct angle“. Take the picture once you get the message.
Pictures (2/4)
For the next picture head to the Amakumo Peak using the Northern Teleport Waypoint and then jump and glide down to the bottom near the water body. Once you reach the ground stand near the water to take the picture. Note: This location is symmetrical and you get the same look if you stand at the wrong location or on some rocks. I have marked the exact location where you can stand to take a perfect picture.
Pictures (3/4)
For the third picture, go to Fort Hiraumi island and walk to the western edge of the cliff (island). I have marked the exact location where you need to stand to take the picture. Stand on the cliff edge with west facing and look toward the island across the water. Adjust the camera angles until you get the message on the screen “Camera has been adjusted to the correct angle“. Take the picture once you get the message.
Pictures (4/4)
For the fourth picture, go to Koseki Village and follow the trail on the ground going in the west direction along the cliff. Here you need to take picture of a group of three islands (as in the map) from the cliff. I have marked the exact position where you need to stand. Stand on the cliff edge and look southwest toward the islands across the water. Adjust the camera angles until you get the message on the screen “Camera has been adjusted to the correct angle“. Take the picture once you get the message.
Take the pictures back to Oda Tarou
Head to the bridge outside Inazuma City to show all four pictures of the island to end the world quest. With this, you will also complete the “On the Other Side of Homesickness” Achievement.
