At the start of Resident Evil Requiem (Resident Evil 9), Grace only has eight inventory slots. That is very small, especially in a survival horror game where every bullet and healing item matters. If you want more space, you need to find Hip Pouches. In total, you can find four Hip Pouches for Grace, which lets you double your inventory from 8 slots to 16. This article will guide the player on where to find each Hip Pouch in the game.
Hip Pouch #1 – Parlor Slot Machine
The first Hip Pouch can be obtained from the Parlor room. Use the Red Jewel to unlock the Parlor door. Inside the Parlor, go to the left side to find the first Hip Pouch behind a glass cabinet. You can use 3 antique coins to obtain the pouch. Location of all Antique Coins.
Hip Pouch #2 – Filing Room (Level 1 Wristband Required)
Go to the Filing Room on the first floor, which is located past the Dining Room. At the back of the room, you will see a locked door. Use the Level 1 Wristband to unlock it. Inside, you will find another Hip Pouch on the table.
Hip Pouch #3 – Processing Area (Care Center Basement)
The third Hip Pouch is located in the Care Center basement and becomes available after you move forward in the main story. Head to the processing area where a forklift is blocking the entrance to a room. Look near the forklift to find a fallen NPC who has the forklift key. Take the key, move the forklift out of the way, and enter the room. The Hip Pouch is waiting for you inside.
Hip Pouch #4 – Bioweapon Repository 05
The final Hip Pouch is found much later in the game inside Bioweapon Repository 05. From the lobby area, head all the way to the left end and take the stairs down. In the basement section, check the containers inside the Bioweapon Repository 05 room. One of these conatiner hold the last Hip Pouch.
