How to Find the Three Joint Plugs in the Basement in Resident Evil Requiem
While exploring the basement as Grace in Resident Evil Requiem, you will need to find three Joint Plugs to progress through the facility. In this guide, we will show you how to solve the Joint Plugs puzzle in the basement, including where to find each plug to complete the circuit.
#1 Joint Plug
From the Furnace Room, head north to enter the Holding Cells area. Once inside, walk toward the east side of the room. Here you will find the first Joint Plug at the end, inserted into a socket of a device.
#2 Joint Plug
For the next Joint Plug, return to the Furnace Room and take the path leading to the western caverns. The gate to this area will be closed, so place the Joint Plug you found earlier into the nearby socket to open it.
Once the gate opens, head inside and follow the cavern tunnel until you reach the Workshop interior. Look around the area near the forklift, where you will find another Joint Plug.
#3 Joint Plug
Return to the Furnace Room and collect the second Joint Plug you used to open the door. Now head east from the Furnace Room and follow the hallway north toward the Boiler Room.
At the door of the Boiler Room, place a Joint Plug into the socket. This lets you into the room and then move a nearby box that was blocking the path through the broken fence.
Once the path is open, go through the gap in the wall and enter the Boiler Room. In the western side room, look for a red toolbox that contains the Square Socket Wrench. After picking it up, carefully leave the area and return to the Furnace Room.
Now, head south into the Collection Pool. Use the Square Socket Wrench on the Power Distributor panel, then insert your two Joint Plugs to activate the power. This will shut down a fan and open a path forward.
Go west through the new path, crouch through the disabled fan, and enter the Processing Room. Near the forklift, pick up the Forklift Key from a fallen NPC.
Return through the Collection Pool and retrieve the two Joint Plugs you placed earlier. Return to the Furnace Room and take the path leading to the western caverns. The gate to this area will be closed, so place one of the Joint Plugs into the socket to open it. Once the gate opens, head inside and follow the cavern tunnel until you reach the inspection room and then the processing room.
Here, rotate the valve to drain the blood from the pool and then go to the other side to collect the last Joint Plug.
