If you make your way to the S.T.A.R.S. Office at the RPD in Resident Evil Requiem, you will find a locked briefcase sitting inside the room. In this article, we will explain the exact steps you need to take to solve the puzzle to unlock the briefcase.
Step 1: Find the Locked Briefcase
While exploring the S.T.A.R.S. Office, check the locker room section carefully. Near the benches and storage lockers, you will spot a locked briefcase. You need a three-digit code to open it.
Step 2: Check the Small Office Desk
Inside the main S.T.A.R.S. Office, there is a smaller office connected to it. Enter that room and inspect the desk drawer. Inside the drawer, you will find a file. Interact with it and read it. The document is a library card that shows the checkout history of a book titled “Medicinal Benefits of Herbs.”
It shows that Albert Wesker was the last person to return the book to the library.
Step 3: Search the Library (Second Floor)
Go to the library located on the same floor as the S.T.A.R.S. Office. Once inside the library, take the stairs up to the second floor. Once you reach the top, walk across the wooden walkway and head toward the door at the end. Just before the door, check the bookshelf on the right side to find a book. Inspect it closely, and you will find a hidden photograph tucked away on the shelf.
Step 4: Examine the Photograph
The photo shows Rebecca Chambers wearing a S.T.A.R.S. cheerleader outfit. Turn the photo over and read the back. You will see the words “Rising Rookie Rebecca.” Now take the first letter of each word. Rising starts with R. Rookie starts with R. Rebecca starts with R. That gives you the three-letter code: RRR.
Step 5: Open the Briefcase
Go back to the S.T.A.R.S. Office locker room and interact with the locked briefcase. Enter the code RRR to open it. Once it unlocks, you will find the Power Shades charm inside as your reward.
