This step-by-step collectibles guide will show you the locations of All Collectibles in Chapter 2: Return 2 (The Heart) of Alan Wake II.
Inventory Upgrade #1
Keep playing the chapter until you complete the goals at the Witch’s Hut. Then, head back to the General Store and defeat the first Taken enemy. After that, go through the broken wooden wall inside the General Store and you’ll find an Inventory Upgrade.
Sawed-Off Shotgun
In the same room, the padlock code for the shotgun is 739.
Cult Stash #2 + Inventory Upgrade #2
Available after defeating Nightingale Boss
Press the 3 buttons which blinks on keypad in random order.
Cult Stash #3
You’ll find the Alan Wake 2 streamside stash near a table and some camping gear as shown in map.
To unlock the lock, you must first find the key for the stash. Shine your flashlight around the area, and as you do, keep an eye out for some yellow arrows that will glow in the light of your torch. Follow these yellow arrows, and they will lead you to a specific place where you can discover the key for the stash by the streamside.
Take that back and use it to open the box. I’ve marked both locations on the map.
Nursery Rhyme Puzzle #1 + Hammer Charm
You need to solve the Nursery Rhyme Puzzle. First, pick up the Crow Doll from the nearby bench.
Riddle of Crow Doll Puzzle:
One for light (Place the Doll on SUN)
Two for darkness
Three for a Fight
Four for a struggle
Five birds for injury
Six for Misery
Seven for the ending
whatever that maybe
To complete the Nursery Rhyme Puzzle, put the Crow Doll on the Sun icon. Afterward, remember to pick up the Crow Doll before moving forward. Collect Hammer Charm as a reward from the bench.
Nursery Rhyme Puzzle #2 + Coffee Mug Charm
Solve Nursery Rhyme Puzzle #2 at Witchfinder’s Station.
Doll’s Location
- Hero Doll: Look for Hero Doll in the kid’s room within the building. Go upstairs and turn to the right.
- Wolf Doll: You’ll find a Wolf doll in the kid’s room, sitting on a box near the filing cabinet.

Place the Hero Doll on the Boat and the Wolf Doll on the Tree. You can collect the Coffee Mug Charm, from the children’s room upstairs.

It is located north-east of Witchfinder Station
Nursery Rhyme Puzzle #3 + Kalevala Knights Charm
Place the Crow Doll on the Hatchling, the Hero Doll on the Heart
Go north to find the Charm on the birdhouse that fell down, near the small pool of water.
Cult Stash #4
This Cult Stash #4 is located behind the Private Cabin as shown in the map.
When you shine your flashlight on certain things, the numbers will light up: The note on the stash says the code is Rock-Rock-Tree
Another rock is closer to the crate (3+3).
One rock is far from you (7-2).
Then there’s the tree (6+2).
The code to unlock the stash is = 6-5-8.

From the private cabin, follow the river up and all the way to the end to find this Lunch Box.
