This article will guide the player on how to complete the level ‘Rush Hour‘ for the chapter ‘Neon Revenge‘ in Split Fiction, released on 6 March 2025.
After the initial cutscene, the game will introduce the in-game mechanism for the characters of Zoe and Mia. Mio’s sword can manipulate gravity to walk on walls and ceilings, as well as destroy objects highlighted in pink. Zoe uses her whip to grab, move, or throw objects.
As the level starts, the player’s first task is to open the locked gate. To do this, use Zoe’s ability to remove the metal cover on top of the mechanism on the left side of the door, as shown in the below image.
Then, use Mio’s ability to destroy and cut the wires of the mechanism. Finally, use Zoe’s ability to grab and pull up the door to open it, as shown in the below image.
In the next room, start by using Mio’s Gravity Ability to land on the pink panel on the left wall. Then, cut the rope with her sword, as shown in the below image.
Next, have Zoe grab the hanging rope and swing across the gap to reach the other side, as shown in the below image.
Next, make Zoe grab the container and drag it toward Mio, as shown in the below image.
Then, have Zoe jump onto the container. Finally, drag the container to the opposite side, as shown in the below image.
Next, make Mio enter the open container and use her sword to cut the nets covering the boxes. Then, make Zoe grab the boxes and move them, as shown in the below image. Once the path is clear, proceed through the container.
In the next area, make the characters wall run to bypass the greasy floor.
Use Zoe’s ability to remove the metal cover from the mechanism. Then, have Mio cut the wires to open the doors.
In the next area, players must now cross a rotating grinder. As Zoe, break the glass and use gravity shift to reach the pink panel on the other side. Then, hit the container to open the latch and expose the source, as shown in the below image.
As Mio, grabs the floating containers and throws them at the source to break it and stop the grinder. Finally, cross to the other side and open the door, as shown in the below image.
In the next area, make Zoe breaks the glass wall and enters a room with hanging containers. Use Mio’s sword to hit the cords to drop the containers. Once the container falls, make Zoe jump across to the other side.
Once on the other side, remove the vent cover and enter the duct, as shown in the below image.
Once Mio and Zoe are out of the air duct, have Mio jump onto the pink panel to bring both characters to the same ground level. Then, use Zoe’s whip to grab the lever and rotate it clockwise and counterclockwise to reveal switches on both sides. Attack the switches to break them, as shown in the below image.
Once both switches are broken, the door will open to reveal floating trucks. Jump across the trucks to move ahead in the level.
As both players move forward, they will reach a point with no direct path ahead. Look to the left to find a nearby DLIVRY truck with a pink gravity panel. Have Zoe stand on the launch pad while Mio hits the button to launch Zoe into the air and land on a truck ahead, as shown in the below image.
As Zoe, grab a box and throw it at the DLIVRY truck to break the glass and reveal the gravity panel, as shown in the below image.
Then, use Zoe’s whip to grab a nearby crane and pull it closer to Mio by moving it to the other side of the truck, as shown in the below image.
As Mio grapples onto the small pink panel on the crane and swings to the next truck ahead, as shown in the below image.
Make Mio break the window of that truck and enter inside the truck. Move toward Zio so that she can climb the ladder behind the truck, as shown in the below image.
Make both the characters proceed forward to reach the garbage truck. Make Zoe remove the back cover of the garbage truck and enter the garbage truck together, as shown in the below image.
Inside the garbage truck, jump through the rotating barrels to reach the other side. Open the door and climb up the ladder to come out of the tanker, as shown in the below image.
Have Mio step onto the pink gravity panel and move forward to reach the ladder on the truck. As Mio climbs up, have Zoe remove the latches along the way, as shown in the below images.
Once Mio reaches the top of the truck, have her press the button to release the ladder. Then, have Zoe grab the middle of the ladder and rotate it 180 degrees so Mio can climb up again, as shown in the below images.
Next, have Zoe grapple onto the ladder to reach it and follow the path ahead.
Keep moving through the platforming section until both characters reach the same platform, as shown in the below image.
Open the hatch of the truck and proceed further until a cutscene is triggered.
Fight with the SRI enemies. While fighting Mio and Zeo need to release the explosive cans and throw cans at the enemy vehicle to destroy them.
Keep fighting them while moving forward until the level ends.
